About us
Reaktor Sydost is a resource center for film and young communication, situated in the south east of Sweden.
We are one of 19 regional resource centers for film, funded by the Swedish Film Institute. These are all co-funded by the regions, in our case Southern Småland, Region Blekinge and Kalmar. (to look at a map, click here).
We help young filmmakers (of should we say green, you can be 80 years old and never used a camera before) realize their ideas, whether it is about lending them some cameras, helping out with the screenplay or whatever it might be.
Every fall we arrange a film festival for young film makers, called TellUs film festival.
We also work together with a variety of partners such as academy, profit- and non-profit organzations to boost moving media development in our region. To create a vibrant future, more jobs, and a better place to live and have fun!
